Location: Northern England & Scotland
Salary: Up to £47,500 plus company car, 15% bonus, private medical, 13% c.pension, 26 days holiday

My client, often referred to as the ‘Rolls Royce’ of the Food Industry, is currently searching for a commercially strong National Account Manager for their Ingredients/ B2B division.

In this National role you’ll get to partner with some of the most exciting and well-known food and beverage manufacturers across the UK bringing them world class innovative solutions from the sweet & confectionery industry. Or in other words, you’ll have the ability to directly help make the next generation of market leading products across the food & beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will be commercially responsible for the delivery of sales volume and profit via successful account management of customers within the Northern England and Scotland territory.

You’ll immediately inherit approx. 60 existing customers and building on the good work previously done here will be crucial. In addition, you’ll be responsive to spotting new opportunities where you can increase the customer base.

Candidate Requirements

Here’s what we are looking for……is this you?

  • A proven track record of managing B2B/ Industrial style food and beverage customers
  • Commercially minded with a good track record of sales achievement
  • A genuine ‘Foodie’ with a passion for working with world class ingredient solutions
  • Ability to understand and analyse financial data – budgets, P & L etc.
  • Strong IT literacy e.g. Excel and SAP/databases etc.
  • Pro-active, can-do attitude, resilient, autonomous and driven
  • Effective communication skills – written and verbal including presentation skills

This position is home based, you will ideally live in the North of England or Scotland and have the ability to cover accounts spanning Northern England and Scotland (Sheffield northwards).

In return, the successful candidate can expect a highly competitive salary & benefits package that will be negotiated dependent upon experience.
